Join the FLA

FLA-affiliated companies, suppliers, colleges and universities, licensees, and NGOs are leaders in the worldwide fight against sweatshop labor. By joining together to maximize their impact on industry practices, Fair Labor Association affiliates create the potential for lasting change at thousands of factories around the world.

Companies

Companies or suppliers that join the FLA share a committment to promoting international labor standards within their supply chains. FLA affiliated companies and suppliers range from large multinational corporations producing for the global market to medium and small businesses that are focused on local markets, including the U.S. collegiate market.

Colleges and Universities

Colleges and universities want assurances that products bearing their names are produced under fair and decent working conditions.  The FLA provides an opportunity for colleges and universities to demosntrate their leadership and action on this issues by providing a program for schools to promote fair labor standards in the production of their collegiate licensed goods.

NGOs and Trade Unions

NGOs and trade unions are fundamental to the development and operation of the FLA.  From assisting in the formulation of policies and procedures at the Board level to factory-level involvement as accredited monitors to providing capacity-building services, NGOs and trade unions play a valuable role in advancing workers's rights through the FLA system.
